History:
There is an Army Parachute Brigade which is mixed with Commando troops.
In october 1973 one of the units was with the Syrians fighting against the Israelis on the slopes of Mount Hermon in the Golan Heights, during 1976 asnother was fighting Mauritanian troops in the disputed Spanish Sahara, then in April 1977 three of the units were in action in Zaire to aid in repelling the Katanga invasion.
